the Kye Bay Beachouse was everything it was advertised to be! The setting on Kye bay beach is spectacular with the added bonus that Kye Bay reveals a vast area of walkable sand, tide pools, shorebirds and happy off-leash dogs with every low tide. The house was immaculate, well-stocked and a great size for a family gathering. The outdoor spaces were inviting and the yard along the beachfront perfect for playing Bocce, or football .

The house had a wonderful location for our family - lots of room inside and out. The beach was wonderful for swimming and exploring. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the additional baby safety gear that was available. There were a couple of plumbing/drainage issues during our stay; the upstairs bathroom shower was clogged, and the dishwasher would not properly drain. This wasn't a huge issue, but definitely needed to be worked around.

Our family all loved our few days at the Kai Bay, Beach House. The location, view and superb cleanliness of the kitchen, bedrooms, washrooms, and surroundings far outweighed a couple of very minor irritation. I would strongly recommend this location to anyone who might be looking for first class accommodation in the Comox Valley area.

This was an excellent property to stay in. It easily accommodated our four couples and the oceanfront setting was perfect. The house is well laid out, very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and plenty of closet space to unpack clothes. The kitchen is very well appointed with lots of small appliances available.

The beach is lovely and the yard was great for bocci and frisbee. We loved the location. The kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed. Outside seating and tables were comfortable. We did find accessing the codes for the two doors a bit of a challenge.

You are dealing with a company, and not directly with an owner. I think that accounts for the jump in costs - I had sticker shock! Having said that the place is perfect for families wanting a Kye Bay vacation with easy beach access and space. The home is lovely and well laid out. All my enquiries were answered promptly. All the linens are nice, beds are comfy and kitchen stocked with all the usual dishes and appliances.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Right on the beach. Well stocked kitchen. Several eating areas. Six red comfortable chairs for watching the tide go in and out. Nice shallow swimming area for swimming and exploring.Host was very helpful with any questions we had.

Beautiful home, comfortable and relaxing! Had some issues with communication regarding early check in, door codes, and dead doorknobs. Once we were able to actually talk to a real person the issues were resolved timely.

This is our 4th year staying at Kye Bay beach resort and it never disappoints Perfect spot for a girls golf trip The place is spotless and the kitchen is well equipped. The ocean right out front is beautiful and the mountain views are spectacular . Highly recommended property

Good water pressure in showers, (although hot water in bunky shower is limited). Comfortable beds and furniture (inside and out). Gorgeous beachfront. Wonderful beachcombing in low tide. Seals and bald eagles. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely area. Great communication.

The place is just as described on the website. It is beautiful and clean. The only drawback is this property is handled by a third party rental company, when asking a question there oftens seem uncertain in their answers but all turned out to be fine a the end.

Beyond the beautiful bay, the home and host made our reunion top shelf, we said we would not change a thing as the homes’s description is very accurate. Lots of comfort space(s) for visiting and home is well appointed. Would rent from the host again…

Beautiful beachy vacation home

We booked the property for a little family reunion, on the beach we used to vacation at years ago. It's exactly what we were looking for! The property is spacious, has great amenities and outdoor space, and is literally 3 steps to the beach. Can't wait to book another trip here.

Over all stay was great, couldn't beat the location and the view! The outdoor shower was a great addition:) Unfortunately the AC unit wasn't adequate for the upstairs bedrooms. Love the outdoor Annex and all the outside seating. The kitchen offered everything we needed but could have used more bath towels. Thank you for having us!

Amazing house! We stayed here for a family reunion with our large family of 8 adult siblings and all our children (39 people total). There were beds and bedrooms enough for everyone. The number of en suite bathrooms was incredible as well. I loved that there were several different gathering spaces people could hang out in. There were a couple minor plumbing issues while we were there, but they were resolved in an impressively timely fashion.

The Beach House is the perfect place for families to come together and create special memories. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beach and outdoor areas are wonderful and the indoor space comfortable and cozy. We had an amazing time and we can’t wait to return!

" Info about the property " said there was a keurig coffee maker. There is NO keurig coffee machine .
The coffee machine provided does not work properly as grounds overflow into the carafe, every time .

Lovely place right on the beach! Clean with lots of supplies in the kitchen to cook meals. No restaurants near so a car is necessary.

Great time but there could be more lights outside rugs at the door because of weather

The stay was great had everything you need for kitchen. But when you first walk in it has a smell of something that’s been wash hasn’t been dried out enough like the rugs stains.

Incredible Location

Lovely house right on Kye Bay beach. Location is exceptional. Lots of room for our 6 adults and 2 kids. Our only concerns were small.. ice maker not working, only one frying pan, fan not working in one bathroom.
Bring sleeping masks.. there are no light-blocking shades on bedroom windows (very bright at 5:30am!) We all loved it and have re-booked.

Family Vacation 2023

We decided on Vancouver Island for our family vacation and Comox seemed like a great choice. The property was exactly as shown in the photos. There was lots of room for our family of 7 adults and 1 toddler. Being right on the beach made for some amazing visits to the beach to explore and play in the water. Every night gave us different, but amazing sunsets. As for the house, the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The house was clean, but could have been a bet better.

Beautiful setting!

Lovely comfortable house and property. Really enjoyed the sandy coast at low tide, and the deck was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Some darker blinds and curtains would have helped in the bedrooms. But was a wonderful place to stay!

Great location for the beach, golf, cycling or just walking the beach. Comfortable home with all the amenities one needs. The internet worked but we had to reboot it 2-3 times a day.

Perfect spot!

This is a perfect spot on Comox. The house is steps from the beach and has a lovely Outdoor living space. The house was a good size for 7 of us (5 adults and 2 kids). The only downside was the wifi and cell service. Unfortunately it was a working holiday for some of us and the unreliable internet was a challenge at times, but it was only because we had to get some stuff done. Other than that, it’s a beautiful spot and we would definitely come back!

Beautiful, comfortable and clean

The location was so beautiful right on the water. We were a party of 6 but we all had plenty of room and we didn’t feel crowded at all. I loved all the outdoor spaces on the property as well. The kitchen was well equipped so it made cooking easy.
